Installation of Windows Server 2008

Windows Server 2008 ရဲ႔ Installation လုပ္ပံုကို ေျပာျပခ်င္ပါတယ္။

ဘာျဖစ္လုိ႔လဲဆိုေတာ႔ Windows Server 2008 ဟာ သူ႔ေရွ႔က ထြက္ရွိခဲ႔တဲ႔ Microsoft Server Version ေတြနဲ႔

Install လုပ္ပံုျခင္းက ကြဲျပားေနပါတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင္႔ Windows Server 2008 ကိုစမ္းသပ္ျပီးအသံုးျပဳခ်င္ေနၾကျပီ။

ဒါေပမယ္႔ Installation ဘယ္လိုလုပ္ရမလဲ မသိေသးသူေတြအတြက္ ရည္ရြယ္ျပီးေတာ႔ ဒီတစ္ပတ္မွာ

ယခုသင္ခန္းစာေလးကို ေဖာ္ျပေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။ Windows Server 2008 ဟာ Windows Vista နဲ႔

Installation ျပဳလုပ္ပံုေတြတူညီပါတယ္။ Windows Vesta ကို Install လုပ္ဖူးတယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ႔

ခက္ခက္ခဲခဲရွိမွာမဟုတ္ပါဘူး။

Windows Server 2008 ကို Windows Explorer GUI ေတြမပါပဲနဲ႔ အသံုးျပဳလို႔ရတဲ႔ Cutdown Version

ေတြျဖစ္တဲ႔ Server Core Installation အျဖစ္ Install လုပ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ ဘာျဖစ္လို႔လဲဆိုေတာ႔ Windos Server

2008 ကိုအသံုးျပဳမယ္ ၊ Configuration ေတြျပဳလုပ္မယ္ဆိုရင္ GUI Interface ကို Support လုပ္ေပးတဲ႔

Windows Explorer ေတြမရွိလည္းရပါတယ္။ သူ႔ကို Command Line Interface (or) Microsoft

Management Console (MMC) ကေနသြားျပီးေတာ႔ Configure လုပ္လို႔ရပါတယ္။ Server Core version

ေတြကို အေျခခံအပိုင္းေတြျဖစ္တဲ႔ Domain Controller (Active Dierctory) Service , DNS Server, DHCP

Server, File Server, Print Server, Windows Media Server, IIS7 web Server နဲ႔ Windows Server

Virtualization virtual server ေတြနဲ႔အတူ dedicated machine ေတြအတြက္ အသံုးျပဳႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

Windows Server 2008 ကုိ Install လုပ္မယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ ေအာက္ပါ Hardware

ေတြလုိအပ္ပါတယ္။

1. Processor - Processor ကေတာ႔ အနည္းဆံုး 1GHz (x86 processor) နဲ႔ 1.4GHz (x64 processor)

လုိအပ္ပါတယ္။ သူ႔ကို Recommand လုပ္တာကေတာ႔ 2GHz နဲ႔အထက္ပါ။ Windows Server 2008 ရဲ႔

Itanimu-based system ေတြအတြက္ Intel Itanium 2 processor ေတြလုိအပ္ပါတယ္။

2. Memory - Memory ကေတာ႔ အနည္းဆံုး 512 MB လုိအပ္ပါတယ္။ 2GB

ႏွင္႔အထက္ဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ပိုေကာင္းပါတယ္။ အမ်ားဆံုးကေတာ႔ 32-bit system ေတြအတြက္ 4GB (Standard) နဲ႔

64GB (Enterprise and Datacenter) အထိ support လုပ္ပါတယ္။ 64-bit system ေတြအတြက္ေတာ႔

32GB (Standard) နဲ႔ 2TB (Enterprise , Datacenter and Itanium based system) ေတြအထိ Support

လုပ္ေပးပါတယ္။

3. Disk Space - Disk space အေနနဲ႔ကေတာ႔ အနည္းဆံုး 10GB ရွိရပါမယ္။ 40GB

နဲ႔အထက္ဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ပိုျပီးေကာင္းပါတယ္။ RAM က 16GB

နဲ႔အထက္ရွိတဲ႔ Computer ေတြအတြက္ဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ Paging, hibernation and dump files ေတြအတြက္ disk

spce ပိုျပီးလုိအပ္ပါတယ္။

4. Drive - Drive လုိအပ္ခ်က္ကေတာ႔ DVD-ROM drive ရွိရင္ရပါျပီ။

5. Display and Peripherals - Display အတြက္ကေတာ႔ Super VGA (800x600) နဲ႔ high -resolution

monitor လိုအပ္ပါတယ္။ Peripheralအတြက္ကေတာ႔ Keyboards, Mouse or compatible pointing device

တို႔လုိအပ္ပါတယ္။

ကဲ............Installation စလိုက္ၾကရေအာင္ေနာ္။ ပထမဦးဆံုး မိမိရဲ႔ DVD ROM ထဲကို Windows Server

2008 CD ထည္႔လုိက္ပါ။ Computer ကို CD ကေန Boot တက္လိုက္ပါ။ File ေတြကို Loading လုပ္ပါလိမ္႔မယ္။

မိမိရဲ႔ Installation Language ကို ေရြးခိုင္းပါလိမ္႔မယ္။ English ကိုအသံုးျပဳမွာျဖစ္တဲ႔အတြက္ English

ကိုေရြးေပးလိုက္ပါ။

အခုဆိုရင္ Install လုပ္တာစတင္ပါျပီ။

Activation လုပ္ဖို႔အတြက္ Product key ရိုက္ထည္႔ရမယ္႔ က်လာပါျပီ။ Product key ကိုရိုက္ထည္႔လုိက္ပါ။

Next ကိုႏွပ္ပါ။ အကယ္လို႔ မိမိမွာ Product key မရွိဘူးဆုိရင္ ဘာမွမထည္႔ပဲ Next ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။ Product key

ထည္႔မွာလား ဆုိျပီး box တစ္ခုက်လာပါ႔မယ္။ No ကိုေရြးေပးလိုက္ပါ။

၄င္းေနာက္ Windows Server 2008 ထဲက ဘယ္ Version ကိုအသံုးျပဳမလဲဆိုတာကိုေရြးေပးရပါမယ္။

အခုကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔က Windows Server 2008 Enterprise (Server Core Edition) ကို Install

လုပ္မွာျဖစ္တဲ႔အတြက္ သူ႔ကိုေရြးေပးလိုက္ပါ။

Windows Version box တက္လာတဲ႔အခါ မိမိ္က အေစာပိုင္းက Product ID ရွိမယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ Full Version

ကို Select လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။

License Agreement box က်လာတဲ႔အခါမွာေတာ႔ I accept the licesns .......ကို Select မွတ္ျပီး Next

ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။

ဘယ္ Installation အမ်ိဳးအစားကိုေရြးမလဲဆိုတဲ႔ box က်လာျပီဆိုေတာ႔ Custom (Advanced) ကို ႏွိပ္လိုက္ပါ။

မိမိက ဘယ္ Partition မွာ Install လုပ္မလဲဆုိတာကို ေရြးေပးရပါမယ္။ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ Partition ေတြကို Format

ခ်ျပီး အသစ္အေနနဲ႔သံုးမွာလား။ ရွိျပီးသား Partition မွာပဲ ထပ္ျပီးေတာ႔ Install လုပ္မွာလားေရြးေပးရမွာပါ။

႔File ေတြကို Copy ကူးေနပါျပီ။

File ေတြကို Copy ကူးျပီးတဲ႔ေနာက္မွာေတာ႔ System က Reboot ျဖစ္သြားပါမယ္။

ကဲ............အခုဆိုရင္ Log on box က်လာျပီဆိုေတာ႔ Log on ၀င္လို႔ရျပီေပါ႔။ CTRL+ALT+DELETE

ကိုႏွိပ္ျပီး Log on ၀င္လုိက္ပါ။

Administrator နဲ႔၀င္မယ္ေနာ္။ ေနာက္ျပီး Password ရိုက္ထည္႔ေပါ႔။

ပထမဆံုးအၾကိမ္မွာ Password ကို change ရမယ္ဆုိေတာ႔ box က်လာရင္ေတာ႔ ဘာမွေရြးစရာမရွိပါဘူး ok

ကိုပဲႏွိပ္လုိက္ပါ။

အခု Password Changing Dialog box မွာ Password က default အရေတာ႔ Blank ျဖစ္ေနမွာပါ။ ေနာက္ထပ္

Password အသစ္ကို Complex ျဖစ္ျပီး အနည္းဆံုး Character 7 လံုးရွိမယ္႔ Password မ်ိဳးကိုေပးပါ။

၄င္းေနာက္ Changing Password box က်လာမယ္။

ကဲ............အခုဆိုရင္ Password Change ျပီးျပီဆိုေတာ႔ေပၚလာျပီဆိုေတာ႔ OK ကိုႏွိပ္လိုက္ေတာ႔ေပါ႔။

ဒါဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ Windows Desktop ေပၚလာပါလိမ္႔မယ္။ Windows Server 2008 မွာ မိမိလုပ္လိုေသာ

အလုပ္ေတြကို လုပ္လို႔ရပါျပီ။
